Kennywood!

Well, here's the 2nd notable thing that happened yesterday. We went to Kennywood! It was a spur of the moment trip with our friends the Youngs. We had a late start - because of the gallbladder situation. Then we were stuck in the worst traffic jam - caused by some firefighters and their "Fill the Boot for MDA" campaign! Kennywood was not what I expected. It was in a city, I was expecting something more rural and the parking lot was on a hill. We had 2 choices to get down to the park: shuttle bus or ski lift! We took the bus. We had a great time, it was a nice park. A lot busier than Idlewild where we went last year. There was a nice kiddieland area, rides for bigger kids, thrill rides and coasters too. Everyone had their favorite ride: me - Auto Race (see the video), Mark - Log Jammer, Melanie - Log Jammer, Marky - Auto Race, and Nicholas - Red Baron (airplane Mommy!).
