Melanie, along with some of her classmates, did a wonderful job singing the National Anthem today. She was very proud of herself - we are proud too! We were in small room to watch them sing so the video is of Melanie from the back - but at least I have it recorded.
Tomorrow she gets to have lunch with the principal for Lunch Bunch. She was selected by her teacher for showing "love" in a special way. Each month they have a new attribute they highlight at school. On Wednesday, I will be a guest reader in her class and we'll pass out a birthday treat for Melanie's upcoming birthday. It's a great week for Melanie!
